Martensite formation during heating from cryogenic temperatures – A phase-field study

چکیده

A 3D elastoplastic phase-field model is used to study the effect of isochronal heating on martensitic transformation in stainless steel quenched cryogenic temperature. The results show that slower heating, larger martensite volume fraction developed heating. simulated microstructures driven by autocatalysis during early stages and coarsening existing units later transformation. internal stresses are mainly relaxed initial transformation, whereas they plastic deformation temperature for attaining a certain increases with increasing rate, which consistent thermally activated Kissinger-like analysis curves provides an activation energy 11.9 kJ/mol.
